New Boker Knives for 2011

Can you tell that we love new knives here at the knife blog? I was checking out Boker Knives today and saw that they have announced new knives under all three of their major brand lines. I couldn’t wait to share them with all of you!
Boker Solingen
Boker Anso 67
Another frame lock design by Jens Ansø. This knife is similar to the Boker Haddock, with a 3mm thick titanium liner and a front G-10 scale. The blade is made of N690BO steel. Blade length: 3 1/2″.

Boker Mokume Damascus
This is a really nice collector’s knife from Boker! This knife features a breathtaking “typhoon” damascus blade, combined with an exotic Imbuia wood handle. The bolsters are made of traditional Japanese Mokume, a combination of different non-ferrous metals forged together. Blade length: 3 1/8″.

Boker Terra Africa II
An nice new version of the Terra Africa. Features a Palmira wood handle with a two-toned N690BO steel blade. Blade length: 4 1/4″.

Boker Kiridashi DLC
The Kiridashi became very popular as a multi purpose knife. This new version of the Kiridashi is thin but durable. The blade is made of 440C. Cutting Edge length: 1 3/4″.

Boker Plus
Boker Kalashnikov 10 Fixed Blade
A solid tanto fixed blade knife. Aluminum handle scales. The blade steel is high performance 440C stainless. Blade length: 5″.

Boker Elegance Carbon
This is a very cool carbon fiber pocket knife. It has titanium liners, and a push button lock (non-automatic). This knife does not have pocket clip. Blade length: 2 7/8″. There is also a very nice blue titanium version of the elegance available.

Boker Titan Drop
The one thing I think Boker does really well, is great EDCs and work knives. This knife is proof.  The blade is made of 440C stainless steel, with a bead blasted titanium handle. Blade length: 3 3/4″.

Boker Vox Access Tool
This is a good multi-purpose prying tool for the keyring or pocket. It works great as a bottle opener, nail puller, shackle opener and carabiner. One of the highlights of this tool is the carbide glass-breaker, which is located between the two protective o-rings. Made from titanium, which means it weighs less than one ounce! Thickness: 5mm.

Boker Magnum
Boker Elk Hunting Folder
This is a nice pocket knife. Features a 440 stainless steel blade and a handle crafted of rosewood and walnut. Blade length: 2 5/8″.

Boker Magnum Brushed
This knife features matte stainless steel bolsters and a 440 stainless steel blade. Blade length: 3″.

Boker Magnum Waves
A strong and durable knife. Wave-shaped grip, made of aluminum, 440 stainless steel blade. Blade length: 3 3/4″.

Boker Magnum Gray Spear
A nice sturdy and durable knife. A spear point blade, partially serrated and made of 440 stainless steel. The aluminum scales are also titanium coated and equipped with comfortable grooves. Blade length: 3 3/8″.

  1. Those are some really nice looking knives. Well designed and pleasing to the eye as well as functional. And that Kalishnikov looks plenty mean!

  2. B.K., That “Boker Kalashnikov 10 Fixed Blade” does look pretty MEAN…
Decisions, Decisions, Decisions… Everyday they get harder and harder to make. I’ll just have to by all three and pay the mortgage late. I hope “The Bank” folks understands, if they don’t then…. oh well, I will be better equipped to live on the streets. Especially with these Boker products:
    1) Boker Vox Access Tool
    2) Boker Kiridashi DLC
    3) Boker Magnum Gray Spear
    4) Boker Kalashnikov 10 Fixed Blade
    Ain’t they cool!

  3. I was looking for great-looking and quality knives and finally I have found one. The “Boker Kalashnikov 10 Fixed Blade” is just epic! It has a look of “if-looks-could-kill” type. And with its Tanto Blade, you can never go wrong with it. I’m buying this one!
