In a sea of awesome products at Blade HQ, it can be hard to nail down just one thing you want to buy; there are simply too many appealing items to choose from! Fortunately for you, I happen to know a few people who work at Blade HQ. They know the ins and outs of the store, and I had them each pick their favorite knife. You’ll see the knives they chose listed below.

That being said, what’s deemed “awesome” for one person might be less than cool for another. If you don’t see anything you like below, fear not! Blade HQ happens to carry thousands of products, and if you head on over to the Blade HQ website, I am positive you’ll find something you like.

Without further ado, here are our favorite knife suggestions from Blade HQ.

Boker Plus Nano

The Nano is a great knife for everyday carry! It has a great steel and is very unobtrusive to carry. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell from pictures, but this knife is actually very small. The overall length is 4.75 inches long—about the length of an avocado, if you will. It literally fits in the palm of your hand. It’s small, but it can still handle the tasks you’ll come across on a day-to-day basis.

Lightning OTF

The Lightning is pretty much the king of all Out The Front Knives. Its speedy action is honestly comparable to a Out The Front Knife that cost over $100. When you’ve got that big of a price difference, why not try something a little more affordable? If you’ve got an OTF in your future, you’ve got nothing to lose with the Lightning and everything to gain!  It will hold up to lots of use and it’s really fun to use, too. You can even use OTFs for everyday carry without feeling too bad about it since this knife doesn’t cost too much.

Frank B Stilettos

Italian stilettos are a classic choice for any knife lover. I’m not sure what it is about stilettos that makes them so appealing; maybe it’s the sweet “fwing!” sound that ensues after deploying the blade, the elegant designs, or the movies they’ve starred in. Any way you look at it though, you can’t deny that there’s something special about a stiletto. Frank B stilettos in particular stand out of the crowd. As you probably know, Frank B stilettos are made in Italy, and they showcase some of the greatest quality and finesse you’ll ever see in Italian-style knives.

Boker Kalashnikov

You know this knife (or at least you should)! For those of you who haven’t been introduced, this is the Boker Kalashnikov. The Kalashnikov is one of the best budget automatic knives in all the land! Like the Lightning OTF, the Kalashnikov offers you a great bang for your buck. It has firing action that is surprisingly powerful for such a small blade, and it will hold up to deployment after deployment after deployment. It’s a lot of fun to use, and it’s going to last you a long time.

Dark Angel Automatic Knife

This automatic knife is even more inexpensive than the Kalashnikov, but it still functions really well. Don’t just take my word that this knife is awesome though; it also happens to be one of the best-selling knives on Blade HQ. Obviously, you guys know it rocks, too.

  1. AKC’s all the way. I’m a huge fan of Italian style knives and I haven’t received a bad one yet from AKC
