CRKT (Colombia River Knife and Tool) Knives has announced their new lineup for 2011. It looks like CRKT has added more quality, and new innovations to their current lineup of knives.
CRKT Nirk Tighe -5250
CRKT had knifemakers Brian Tighe and Glenn Klecker get together for this new model. This knife will feature a 3.875″ blade and AUS-8 steel. This is a beautiful new folding knife.
CRKT Nirk 5180, 5185 and Nirk Novo 5170, 5175
These knives were created by Glenn Klecker as a design experiment. He wanted to design a knife where the removal of any of the pieces would cause the knife to not function. The Nirk Novo will have a blade length of 2.75″ and the Nirk 3.125″. Both of these knives will be available in black and satin.
CRKT K.I.S.S. Assist – 5650, 5655, 5660, 5665
This is basically the Kiss design (a one-sided knife), turned into an assisted opener. It will be available in drop point and tanto options (serrated and plain). This one is sure to be popular.
CRKT Keydashi – 2280
This one will make you ask: “How small can a keychain knife get?” The answer: about 2.25″.
CRKT Sampa – 5330, 5335K
These lightweight folders will feature ball-bearings at the pivot. It will also be the first cold-forged aluminum frame that CRKT has ever produced. This knife will have a blade length of 3.125″ and feature AUS-8 steel. Available with both satin and black blades.
CRKT Lake 111-Z – 7253Z, 7254Z, 7255Z, 7256Z
This is a very nice lockback folder designed by Ron Lake. It will be available in both large and mini options.
CRKT Shenanigan and PPS – K480KKP, K480KKS, K470KKP, K470KKS
These are the newest designs from Ken Onion. Available with aluminum (Shenanigan) or polymer (Shenanigan PPS) frames.
CRKT Skinner – K700KXP
Ken Onion has been working on this Skinner for some time, and it is finally ready for release. It will have a 3.75″ blade length and an 8.00″ overall length. It will feature Bohler K110 steel.
CRKT Shakaulu – K900KKP
Another Ken Onion design. This is a combination skinning knife, gut hook, and cleaver. Its the hunters dream. It will have a blade length of 5.50″ and an overall length of 9.50″.
CRKT Crimson Trace Target Tools – RBT and Picatinny Tools – 8970, 8975
These are combination multi tools and laser sights. They are designed for every shooting bag.
CRKT M16-ZLEK – 12ZLEK, 13ZLEK, 14ZLEK
The basic Kit Carson flipper with an added seat belt cutter, and a tungsten window breaker at the bottom.
CRKT Fillets – 3015, 3017, 3019
