One custom knife maker we haven’t touched on yet is Reese Weiland. Reese first became interested in knives at age 12, and he’s been a member of the Knifemaker’s Guild since 1988. I really like custom knife makers because they typically take a lot more creative liberties in their work. This means the knives they make will be original works of art that showcase the knife maker’s personality and skill in a way that is possible, but more difficult, in production knives. This is just my opinion, of course.
Reese uses a lot of interesting colors and patterns in his work that set it apart from the work others have done.
