About KnifeBlog.com

The Knife Blog is where we talk about knife stuff. Typically we cover new products, cool products, industry news, and whatever else floats down the knife channels. This blog is operated by BladeHQ.com (and sometimes by the ghost of Christmas past).

  1. Greetings,

Thank you for posting the Thita knives and also making mention of the Mr. Damascus table, however, my name is Keith not Kevin (as you used). Just a heads up to let you know.

    Kind regards,
    Keith

  2. Keith, I am really sorry about that. I will fix it in the post. We still loved your knives. We are going to have some great pictures posted in the next couple of days.

  3. Dear people at Knife Blog!
I want to introduce myself to you as the inventor of the BLADE show award winning DOBOLOCK knife.

I am in cooperation with FOX knives fron Italy and this manufacturer entered the contest with my knife.

Late this summer an initial small quantity of dobolock knives will be available to the public (600 pieces dobolock light, 100 pieces dobolock heavy).
FOX will sell the light version and pi-knives will sell the heavy version.

If you need more infos about the dobolock please visit my website: pi-knives.com
There is also a short description of the dobolock in english for you to read.

If you want to contact me please do not hesitate to do so.

    Kind regards from Austria/Salzburg

  5. Hi!

I’m a big fan of your blog and I thought your readers might enjoy a brand I represent- R. Murphy Knives- a 160 year old Massachusetts-based company that produces a diverse array of specialty knives. I would love to email you some more information that I think would be a great fit for your blog. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Best,

  6. Now that Williams-Sonoma has revealed their exclusive new Fuji Line of Shun Cutlery, might you consider placing an appropriate photograph of it on your blog?

You used the Shun Premier line in your photo in June, also beautiful, also sharp, but NOT Fuji!

  7. Hi Mary,

We used he Shun Premier because there were not any pictures of the Fuji line available. I have actually updated the picture. Thanks.

  8. Searching for a knife I lost to airport security. Mistakenly left it in my backpack… Oops. It was a wedding gift and I’m desperate to replace it. I have a picture/description I can e-mail you if you could help.
