“I love this little knife. I have had it for about a week now. The vertical leather sheath fixes the sag problem with he horizontal leather sheaths. the retention is good and the finish is pretty good. The knife has a good sharp edge on it. fits my hands very well and is comfortable to use. I cant wait to test it out more. but for the money it is a solid knife.”

“This dagger is great if you are looking for something a little extra when going around town but you down want to carry a full size dagger. This thing rides well with the sheath on my hip and does not really show. The sheath retention is something others seem to find an issue with but know it is not going to fall out and if i need it for what I bought it for, then I am sure the adrenaline will help me overcome it. Over all this thing is exactly what is says it is and that is a self-defense tool that will work if you need it. A solid purchase.”

Rodney P. says…
“Bought it just because it’s a Benchmade and made with 3v steel. It came almost razor sharp. Two passes on ceramic and it is scary. It is not the most robust knife, but at 3v, it is plenty stout enough. The sheath is traditional and has the plastic insert, and it retains the knife very well. It isnt going to fall out accidentally. I have other knives that cost me much more that are no more capable than this. The handle is comfortable and give a very good grip. It isn’t going to slip out of the hand when wet. For the price, there isn’t a better value on the market.”

James W. says…
“A nice update to the SOCP with a smaller blade and profile. This makes it easier to carry discreetly. If you need to carry it against your body, it comes with a nice small leather guard which can be attached pretty easily. Since I carry mine in my pocket, I don’t use it. The pocket clip has been changed and has a lip on it that catches well, even if the sheath moves up a bit when you are deploying the knife.”
